About American Bar & Grill Lanc

American Bar & Grill Lanc provides the best sandwiches, hand-tossed pizzas, and wings in the Lancaster, PA area.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 AM–12 AM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach American Bar & Grill Lanc at (717) 394-8021; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is abg-lancaster.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Lancaster is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lancaster follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

ABAG is a city and county favorite. One step above a dive, the place has a great bar and table seating. It is the kind of place Chili's and Applebee's base their "look" on (unsuccessfully). Fast, friendly service. This place is the choice hangout of many bartenders and barstaff across town. Weekly specials, great vibe.

β€œGreat Photos, Disappointing Reality β€” Cold Food and a Bathroom That Said It All” We found this place through a Google search, and honestly, the photos of the empanadas were what convinced us to give it a try. We went with my husband, mother-in-law, and our two kids, hoping for a good family dinner experience. Once we arrived, we were already a little unsure based on the location and the condition of the building. It seems like it may work better as a local spot to grab a drink, but for dinner, I would definitely recommend going elsewhere. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, French dip, cheesesteaks, and fries. Unfortunately, almost all of the food came out cold except for my mother-in-law’s meal. My quesadilla was not only cold, but somehow also badly burnt at the same time. Overall, the food quality honestly reminded us of something we could have gotten cheaper and quicker at Sheetz. The biggest red flag, though, was the bathroom. In my opinion, the cleanliness of a restaurant’s restroom says a lot about how the kitchen is maintained, and after seeing it, we should have trusted our instincts and left after our drinks. Very disappointing experience overall, especially for a fami

I think this may have been the best cole slaw I’ve ever had. Crab dip is fire, brisket sando with au jus was fire. Also the bearded bartender is so kind, service is great and the vibes are immaculate. Karaoke night was packed, loved the family feel that the bar had. Our food was really good, classic American bar food but made from scratch. Not reinventing the wheel, but I think that’s the point.

The wings here were so good, fresh and crispy delicious! We started with the Cheesesteak rolls! They were cheesy and fresh. They could have had more meat. The kids had Mac and cheese! They loved it! My wife got the 12 wings! 6 HOT BBQ (BBQ β€’ HOT SAUCE) and 6 THAI PEANUT(PEANUT & CHILI SAUCE) I myself got the 12 wings as well! 6 HOT BBQ CAJUN (BBQβ€’ HOT SAUCE β€’ CAJUN RUB) and 6 CARIBBEAN (ALLSPICE β€’ GINGER β€’ THYME β€’ JALAPEΓ‘O)

Great specials and wings..but they seriously need to clean or replace their glasses. And also clean the windows as they are gross. *Gave this place another try because I read their pizza is great. Well they cleaned things up but my pizza was burned!!!! Such a shame because the sauce tastes great and probably would have been a great pizza. So do I give it another try? Maybe....but 3 strikes and you are out. *Went back....pizza was burnt on the bottom to the point of disappointment. The pizza looked great but bottom was badly burnt. If owners read this review you would think things would improve!!!
